Velen

A commission piece of the dragon character, Velen. I am quite proud of this sculpture as it is, proportionally, one of the best that I have ever done. I am rather fond of the pose as well. Sadly, the photographs do not do this sculpture any justice at all. The mild golden sheen and gold flecking was completely devoured by the camera.

I had a rough time balancing and getting enough support on that front leg. In fact, I got so wrapped up in doing that that I didn't smooth it as best I could. Just something else to add to the list of things I need to work on in the future.
